Restaurant Interiors – DSH Hotel Projects

Crowne Plaza’s Restaurant Wilson’s Berlin

The Crowne Plaza is the first hotel of the Albeck & Zehden Group, for which DSH has already made some renovations. The Crowne Plaza Berlin City Center between Berlin Zoo and Tauentzien is mainly known to international guests and attracts mainly business travelers but also families from all over the world.

The successful hotel restaurant Wilson’s was to be extended and rebuilt, as the spatial potential had not yet been used. The winter garden was connected with a bridge to the main restaurant so that the various parts such as the show kitchen, fine dining, and winter garden have become a harmonious unit.

DSH’s design concept was a mix of Californian flair and urban chic, with lots of transparency and colourful freshness. The design underlines the kitchen, creates a new world of experience, and yet fits into the existing public area.

“The Elephant” in Weimar

The tavern on the market square was founded in 1696 by the princely butler Christian Andreas Barritig. Soon after, the inn was converted into a hostel for merchants and travelers it attracted various german artists: Franz Liszt, Richard Wagner, and Friedrich Schiller met here. From 1921 to 1924 Bauhaus artists were guests here, too, and transformed the tavern into a great Hotel of its time.

In 2018, the hotel was closed for nine months. 100 rooms have been renovated, the public areas including the spa for the excellent house to meet the technical and design requirements of its class. The design was made by Bost Interior Design GmbH & Co. KG.

Premier Inn

The Premier Inn brand from the UK, a subsidiary of the long-established British hospitality company Whitbread PLC, has made great strides in entering the German market in the two years from 2019 to 2021. To date, DSH has refurbished a total of six properties in Berlin, Dresden, Munich, Nuremberg, Braunschweig, and Passau. From soft refurbishment to complete refurbishment, they implemented all projects as general contractors on schedule and to the complete satisfaction of our customers.

The Premier Inn Berlin City Centre is only a ten-minute walk from Berlin Zoo and the Tauentzien shopping street and impresses the public area with charming details and a casual urban lifestyle.
