1 – Gold on 27

The Gold Bar is located on the 27th floor of the Burj Al Arab, the world’s only seven-star hotel and the Jumeirah Resort’s main skyscraper. Offering breathtaking views of Dubai’s marina region and beyond.

Two existing conference rooms have been combined to create a single dedicated social and lounge area. The Gold bar was designed to be a showpiece of wealth and opulence.

AAID worked as a specialised design team to turn Kean Brands’ vision into a comprehensive designed set.

2 – Imperial Club Lounge

The much-anticipated ultra-elegant Imperial Club Lounge debuted in December 2018 at the legendary Atlantis, The Palm. The Lounge, which is only available to guests staying in Imperial Club rooms and spans two floors and 33,250 square feet, provides a luxurious refuge with a stunning outdoor patio.

Everything is designed to emphasise convenience, comfort, and elegance, with perks like as luxury airport transportation, private check-in and check-out, breakfast in the exclusive Lounge, and more. They were entrusted with designing a one-of-a-kind lounge that would cater to members’ needs from breakfast to late at night, while also giving a space to work, dine, mingle, and rest.

The design intent was based around the need to create a diverse guest experience merging comfort, privacy and relaxation. The look and feel of the lounge is a harmonious blend of the brand’s identity with classic contemporary features. Shoals of shimmering chandeliers flow through the central corridors, leading the way to the focal bar and lounges arranged in bays and quiet harbours.

3 – Shimmers

An Arabic vernacular Beach Bar/Restaurant near to the Burj Al Arab, Mina A’Salam Hotel, and Souk Madinat Jumeirah Resort on the beach front. From the ocean to the horizon beyond, this site provides renowned, breathtaking views.

The goal was to keep, update, and expand these characteristics while staying true to the restaurant‘s original idea. To optimise the Arabic Dining experience, retrofit the current culinary facilities, give additional guest amenities, increase the number of covers for the restaurant, and restore the exterior lounge.

The structure was expanded in order to give high-quality visitor facilities. Kitchen facilities have been expanded and modernised to accommodate 250 persons. The Arabic Lounge’s ornate decoration, as well as the architecture and attention for public and private places, provide for a better enjoyment of the views from the lounge to the beach and beyond. AAID collaborated with Interior Designers to create a comprehensive design that met the client’s needs while adhering to the project’s ‘as constructed’ design and scheduling restrictions. During the construction and post-construction phases, they took on a delivery role to guarantee that the scheme was finished to the highest possible client standards.

4 – Waldorf Astoria Mirage Bar

A premium complex has been developed in Ras al Khaimah as part of Hilton’s global expansion of the Waldorf Astoria brand.

They were responsible with providing full design, specification, and construction paperwork for three projects: the Waldorf Astoria Hotel’s spa, tea room, and exterior terrace bar, all designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates.

The cocktail bar on the 17th level of the Emirate’s flagship Waldorf Astoria was designed with considerable care and pleasure by AAID. The goal is to enjoy speciality drinks and a music system while appreciating the views of the Arabian Sea from an intimate bar environment.
