Looking for mid-century bar ideas? Last September, San Diego celebrated the opening of Born & Raised a midcentury-style venue designed by locally based Basile Studio, led by Paul Basile. In the 1930s Little Italy building Basile conceived a canted roof for the 2,700-square- foot rooftop with a distinguish bar interior design ideas, which houses a flowering steel trellis-shaded lounge, copper fireplaces, and its own bar.
First announced in October 2015, CH Projects took over the former drug store and soda shop from 1930s building in Litte Italy, tore it down and constructed a 2-story, more than 10,000 square-foot, indoor/outdoor restaurant with same of best EUA bars.
Born & Raised was built to pay homage to America´s greatest dining institution, the classic steakhouse. The luxury steakhouse restaurant design idea has spared no expense, from rooftop to bathrooms it all designed according to a mid-century architectural influence with a formal dining room idea with plush Italian leather booths, a downstairs bar, and a voguish rooftop bar and restaurant lounge area with own urban garden.

Born & Raised is arguably the biggest opening of the year in San Diego. The restaurant interior design is custom-built with brass and walnut and green marble and camel leather and fur on the seats.
This fall was the opening of second-floor conceived by Basile as a canted roof for the 2,700-square-foot garden rooftop leading the guest thought a suspended steel-and-wood staircase under a skylight.
The whole grand restaurant interior design idea of Born & Raised is to invest in America`s past. The steakhouse is a much an American tradition as jazz and blues as Basile said: “It’s reminiscent of mid-century Palm Springs homes where manufactured shade is a must”.
The mid-century-style garden atmosphere is non-elected with black velvet booths fancy elaborated with plaid and can wicker.
The over-sized 45-foot cocktail bar, full of graceful lines and curved edges, topped with Italian green marble, is designed with a turned woodworking-plane, mirrored ceiling, wood, and holy wall-panel, and a floral steel trellis installations.
