Described as one of most hyped, chic and newest hotspot in West Hollywood, Delilah is a hybrid restaurant and lounge bar and pays homage to the roaring 20’s art deco interior design style filled with plush interior aesthetics, where are shown designer John M. Sofio’s (Built Inc.) influences. The main restaurant interior design detail at Delilah are the four vertical pillars in the center, sheathed in 900 hand-cut mahogany petals and lacquered with a high-sheen finish. Delilah’s restaurant interior design scheme has a Gatsby-like reference, make it one of the Los Angeles best restaurants to go!
While the success of one restaurant might satisfy some, that’s not the case with The h.wood Group partners John Terzian and Brian Toll. Upon opening The Nice Guy in 2016, and having it become the go-to hangout spot for everyone from Kendall Jenner to Drake, it’s safe to say the dynamic duo had struck gold amongst the celebrity set.
But they didn’t stop there, striving to provide more “Los Angeles best restaurants” guide that hones in on the idea of being “a step above a restaurant, but a step below a club” and just an overall chic place to be seen.
A marble bar set amongst moody lighting, plush pink seating, crystal sconces and mixed wood truly transports you back to the Prohibition era. Add in the stunning fireplace, which accentuates the entire scene, and this is definitely a spot you’ll want to come and stay a while.
As for the Built Inc.(-designed space itself, expect open opulence with dangling chandeliers and overstuffed armchairs. Wood and gold touches play off the brighter pink parts of the room, while a couple of long leather couches ring the tiled fireplace that acts as a focus for the room.
Delilah restaurant is one of the finalists “Restaurant Bar and Lounge” of Hospitality Design Nightlife Awards that will be held at Marquee Las Vegas (March 26th from 9:30 pm-11:30 pm).
