The signature design of L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon restaurants throughout the world is based upon a collaboration with French chef and restauranteur, Joel Robuchon. The 72-year-old chef returned to the Big Apple with another iteration of his L’Atelier concept, this time located in the city’s Meatpacking District, below the High Line.

A unique layout places chefs on center stage in a counter-style dining concept internationally inspired by Japanese sushi bars and Spanish tapas bars.
Strategic placement of dramatic lighting, high-impact reds, sleek black lacquer and rich materials creates a gastronomically theatrical environment that builds excitement and anticipation, focusing the guest’s attention on each artfully crafted dish.
L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon New York’s 34-seat dining counter, which is designed to evoke warmth and conviviality, is complemented by surrounding tables and two private dining rooms that each seat 10 people.

Executive Chef Christophe Bellanca, and his team, offer the classic dishes created by Joël Robuchon in small or large portions of an à la carte selection. Joël Robuchon has also designed two nine-course tasting menus: “Le Menu Decouverte de Saison” and “Le Menu Végétarien.” The menus include many beloved signature dishes, incorporating local products.
