Noyane at Conrad Chicago | Best contemporary japanese restaurant at Chicago

Conrad Chicago’s 21st-floor rooftop is home to Noyane, a contemporary Japanese restaurant that features a stylish aesthetic from modern Japanese design. Anchored by a large central bar and a sculptural fire fixture at the northeast corner, the Puccini Group designed the space to draw attention to awe-inspiring views of Michigan Avenue and across Chicago. A bar-height fire pit table and various seating options offer a tailored, state-of-the-art environment for guests looking to dine or enjoy a cocktail high above the Magnificent Mile.

When conceptualizing the space for Baptiste & Bottle, a contemporary twist on the American tavern, Puccini Group was influenced by Chicago’s former “Whiskey Row” and its masculine tones and textures. This contemporary dining venue, dark wood, aged metals, and bourbon and whiskey-inspired hues were selected. Custom millwork pieces showcase the restaurant’s extensive liquor collection.

Seating around the periphery of the restaurant provides patrons with unmatched views of the city, with the bar perfectly positioned against the wall. The restaurant’s artwork includes a large, embossed panel featuring an abstract collage of whiskey ingredients and stills, the apparatus that supports a whiskey or bourbon barrel, as well as a series of seven illustrations detailing the whiskey making process.

Ducca restaurant at Westin Hotel

Located in the Westin Hotel on Market Street, Ducca presents an innovative menu featuring many of Italy’s culinary staples. Guests can dine in under the sparkling chandeliers or enjoy the popular style of bar dining, as seen in the Veneto region. The wine list highlights the dual regional influence, with a focus on Italian and California vintages offered by the glass and bottle. The Venetian-inspired décor and tabletop (down to the gold forks), combined with impeccable service and delicious cuisine, blend together seamlessly to create a memorable dining experience.

Fairmont Empress | Chicest restaurant at Vancouver

The design of the restaurant and bar centers on the historic Empress Room’s heritage, the natural bounty of Vancouver Island, and the hotel’s setting on the sparkling Inner Harbor. Paying special attention to the Edwardian interior, the new design pairs legacy with modernity, as seen in the refurbished hardwood floors, quartzite central bar with sculptural lighting, and antique mirrored panels depicting a Pacific Northwest mountain range. In the tea room, the existing architecture is brightened by a color palette sourced from the original Empress China, a central bar for tea service during the day and champagne by night, and lush plant life referencing the “City of Gardens.”

London West Hollywood restaurant 

The restaurant captures the ethos—seen and unseen—of the “single man.” The misty world of cocktail hours and mid-century modern design lies at the surface but further inspection reveals the layered characteristics of an intelligent, ironic, and emotionally reserved individual. A tribute to that time period, the design of the space offers an enhanced reality with the fusion of technicolor and clean lines, all with a very “human” touch inviting you to stay, relax, and explore the restaurant interior design ideas.

Domaso at Georgetown | Italian inspired restaurant

Domaso, named for a fishing village on Italy’s culinary-famed Lake Como, is imagined after a 21^st century Italian castle. Architecturally grand yet sensually intricate, this chic metropolitan trattoria offers spectacular views of Georgetown and D.C. A large dining room adjacent to an exhibition kitchen opens onto a panoramic dining terrace, while a lounge featuring a sleek marble-top bar and leather floor creates a popular communal dining option. Palomar Hotel extends this signature restaurant even further to a gourmet wine and cheese shop, Domasoteca, which features an extensive selection of Italian and local Virginia wines, and expert-led wine and cheese tastings.
